You and Gerard were best friends in prep school. You two, and his friends, were known as the freaks of the school and were often bullied by the jocks and popular girls. You and Gerard were both in swimming class. You could swim, but Gerard couldn't, so he just stood on the diving board, in full uniform, silently staring at the water. You were wearing your bathing suit, and you were very insecure about how you looked in it. And to be honest? You were made fun of for it too.

As you also stood on the diving board, not wanting to swim since you didn't want to be made fun of, you had your hand on your arm as you were silently staring at the water as well. You two didn't have that class with your friends Frank, Ray, and Gerard's younger brother Mikey. They were all in separate classes since you all were in separate grades, except for you and Gerard. Gerard let out a small sigh before looking over at you, shaking his head silently.
