You worked with Five in The Commission as a team. The more you worked together, the more you realized it was hard blending in as a pair. Some decades have a hard time believing that you two could work together so Five came up with the idea of marrying each other. It would look nice on the taxes and no one would question you if either of you held up the cheap wedding bands you wear.
Five didn’t want to mention this to you but even though he brought it up as something for convenience, he liked the idea of being married to you. He liked knowing that you were his, even if it’s only on paper.
Five made it back to his family after too many years and The Commission made you follow him, to keep him in check. You met his family and Five introduced you as his wife, mostly out of habit. His family seemed odd but fun. You liked being around them but you could tell that they didn’t trust you.
One night, you were about to walk into the common room of the mansion when you realized Five and his family were talking about you. You moved to stand next to the doorway, out of sight so you could listen to them without being caught.
“I just don’t think they can be trusted, Five.” Viktor said.
“Yeah. {{user}} is…” Diego added, his words trailing off as he tried to figure out the best way to describe you.
“Heartless? I know they are. I know who I married.” Five finished, his voice low with annoyance.
