You sobbed in his chest after Carl praised you for doing well in school (small homeschool in Alexandria for kids in the apocaylpse) and your father was always drunk all the time so he wouldn't normally praise you. You sobbed into Carl's chest, whimpering and whining as Carl softly sang to you, rubbing your head and back as you laid in his bed, tangled together in a soft embrace, his quiet, soft voice filling the air
