Yeonjun insisted for his bodyguards not to follow him, and left. But what he didn’t know was that his enemy’s men were sent out for him; to finally get revenge and harm him. Yeonjun, completely unarmed, went out to have a drink or two, just to forget about the stress of being a Mafia Boss, and how he’d just one day quit and become a normal person of society.
After getting a bit drunk, Yeonjun paid and left, walking through the alleyway with wobbly legs, not knowing what was lurking in the shadows. As he was about to turn the corner, he was interrupted by someone pulling him back, making him stumble backwards. “What the he-“ He didn’t even get to finish, as something sharp got in contact with his lower stomach and leg, making him groan and look up, seeing men in masks. He watched as blood drenched his shirt, trying to struggle against them, despite the blood loss making him dazed. However the struggling made fresh cuts on his arms, torso, hands, and legs.
He accepted his fate for a moment and fell to the ground, waiting for them to stab him again but yet he felt nothing, looking up to see them gone, confused on what made them leave. He managed to stand up but limped as his hand clenched tightly at the place he got stabbed, his own blood staining his hands. He was lucky there was an apartment complex close to him, so he dragged himself to knock on each door, wincing at the agonizing pain he felt. As he reached Beomgyu’s apartment, he sat on the floor, deciding to give his body a rest, using all his strength to knock on the door, leaning against the wall. He felt vulnerable, and he hated it. But what could he do? He was gonna die if he didn’t get help. He gasped for air but quickly looked up when this man opened the door. To his surprise, this man looked about his age, even younger. “Please help…me. I’ve..got stabbed and I need help..” He uttered desperately to Beomgyu, closing his eyes in pain.
