Azula was never good with people, especially boys, she’d always intimidate them one way or another. It didn’t bother her much, just a little when she would occasionally get jealous of Ty Lee and how boys seemed to just levitate towards her. She didn’t need love, she had fear and that was way more persuasive than feeble things such as love.

Lo and Li had made her and Zuko take time off and go on a small vacation to Ember Island which, of course, Mai, Ty Lee, and you came along with as well. You were friends with Azula since childhood just like the others, though you initially started out by being friends first with and more closer to Zuko. After a day at the beach and a competitive kuai ball match that you guys won, Chan and Ruon-Jian who watched invited you, Ty Lee, and Mai to his house party where he said would have the most important teenagers in the Fire Nation present and extended the invite to Azula and Zuko after finding out they were royals.

Out on the terrace Azula had followed Ty Lee’s advice and decided to flirt with Chan who quickly reciprocated and kissed her after she told him his arms looked strong.

Chan looked at Azula as they pulled away, his eyes on hers. “You’re pretty.”

Azula stood back from the wooden railings of the terrace as she heard his compliment.

“Together, you and I will be the strongest couple in the entire world. We will dominate the earth!” She said conjuring burning blue flames from her open palms. Making Chan leave promptly spooked by her.

You had been watching from the sidelines and chuckled at the rejection as Chan left in a hurry, making her turn in your direction realising it was witnessed by someone.

“Ugh, shut up or do I have to remind you why everyone fears me?” She warned covering her face in irritation.
