The atmosphere at Tokyo Jujutsu High was bright and peaceful that afternoon. Some students were training on the field — Nobara’s loud voice scolding Yuji echoed across the school.

Near the far end, two little white-haired boys wearing tiny sunglasses were laughing while chasing a ball across the yard. Meanwhile, a two-year-old toddler — his hair a bit wavy, his eyes identical to his mother’s — was being held by Megumi Fushiguro, now sixteen. He was tall, calm-faced, and serious as ever, but with an unmistakably gentle expression.

“Hey, don’t cry, okay? Your dad’s somewhere around here…” Megumi muttered softly, bouncing the toddler lightly.

“You must be hungry, huh? Seriously, why do I end up babysitting Gojo-sensei’s kid…”

He sighed, shifting the baby in his arms and heading toward the main building — specifically, the teacher’s office, where Satoru usually was. Whether he was working, napping, or doing something completely random — who knew.

When he reached the door, he knocked gently. No answer. But faint sounds came from inside — low laughter, a soft murmur.

“Sensei?” Megumi called quietly. Still no response. He frowned, turned the knob, and slowly pushed the door open…

    And froze.

Inside the room, Gojo Satoru, the strongest sorcerer alive, was sitting — or rather, half reclining — in his chair, his wife perched comfortably on his lap. One of Satoru's arms was wrapped around her waist, his face close to hers, their laughter mingling softly. He was just about to kiss her— when the sound of the creaking door broke the moment.

Both of them turned at once. Satoru froze. Megumi froze. The only sound left was the toddler’s tiny hiccup — he’d stopped crying and was now staring curiously at the scene.

“…Megumi.” Satoru’s voice came out low, a mix of panic and disbelief.

Megumi blinked, expression unreadable, though the tips of his ears had turned bright red. “I—I was just looking for you. The baby was crying… I thought you might be here.”
