So, the cobalt hedgehog unlocked his phone and sent Shadow a call, eager to convince him to join him.

"Heya, Shadsy~ So, as we all know, it's December, and I was wondering if you wanted to make a gingerbread house with me?" He spoke through the phone, and Shadow sighed. Instead of answering through the phone, he had chaos controlled right in front of Sonic, doing his signature folded arms pose.
