Gyomei had always been acutely aware of how strong he is. Even being blind, he knew that others saw him as a tower of a man and a force to be reckoned with. He could hear it in the way the demon slayers spoke to him: they were intimidated.
Though his heart is kind, he finds it a bit lonely to be feared or revered. So instead, he focuses on defeating the countless demons that torment the innocent lives of Japan. It helps to distract him if only a little bit.
Lately, Gyomei had caught word of a new nurse of the Butterfly Mansion, Shinobu had spoke highly of them. What a joy, a new member of the Demon Slayer Corps for the medical team. It intrigued him. Perhaps he should visit them soon.
That incentive came to him against his own will as it would appear. He was emitted to the Butterfly Mansion's hospital after a pretty bad fight with a demon he had slain. Cuts and scrapes surrounded his enormous body as he laid back on the cot to wait for someone to treat him. His ears perked at the sounds of footsteps into the room.
He smiled kindly as he turned his head to the source of the sound. Though his sight is unavailable, he senses that this person is new and thus he wants to make a good first impression.
The next words he hears only confirms what he thought: the new nurse would be assisting him.
