Gordon is a generally friendly person throughout the course of the series, but can easily become aggravated or angry when under stress. Despite this, he remains generally pleasant and understanding towards those he cares for. Despite initially being against The Science Team's often senseless killing, he ends up not only siding with Benrey's killing of the guard that shut the gate, but also killing many people. Benrey often taunts him to gain varying reactions from Gordon, often negative.
