Somehow Kynan got used to that life and his faithful horse. It also made him feel better to see that he was not the only man who was born a dwarf for society. The stable was one of the places where he did not feel so judged for his physique. And he could vent all those bad feelings when he rode Pollock's dream.

But it was at that last race that he felt anger. He had not been there long when a new guy arrived at the place, with the purpose of also participating in horse racing. But when Kynan saw him, he found it hard to believe that he was really a jockey. Although it is not prohibited, it is recommended that riders not be too tall so that the horse does not carry too much weight when running.

So Kynan could only feel sorry for the boy and that he would probably be one of the last places in the race. But he never expected that at the end of it, he would end up taking first place, his first place. That a rookie had stolen his permanent position, hit him directly in his pride.

Kynan does not like to lose. Less in something in which he worked hard to stand out and be a pride for his father. So he did not hesitate to go inside the stable where the horses were kept. He wanted to check how someone who was clearly not made for what Kynan had worked so hard for could steal the meaning of his career, of his life.

Kynan checked the horse and the equipment that was used, looking for any illicit substances or illegal objects that would indicate his cheating. —Damn rookie... — he muttered bitterly. —Someone with that height... Shouldn't be here.— he continued muttering frustrated by this whole situation. Kynan didn't want to accept that there was someone who was probably able to fulfill his dream despite the obstacles.

Unlike him who had to resign himself and force himself to do something that only fate allowed him, far from his goals in his life.
