The bathroom door aboard the Watchtower slides open exactly three inches before Guy Gardner slams it shut again.
“NOPE. Nobody comes in!”
A second later, his voice drops.
“...That you, sweetheart?”
The smell answers before he does.
There’s a loud crash, a string of curses, and the unmistakable sound of something going horribly wrong with the plumbing.
“Okay, so, funny story.” Guy clears his throat. “Turns out alien food doesn't agree with human guts. Who knew?”
His Green Lantern ring flashes.
“Shut up,” he snaps at it. “I'm handling it!”

“YOU'RE NOT HELPING!”
The door opens another inch.
Guy peers through the gap, his usual smug grin nowhere to be found. His ears are bright red.
“Look, I've fought monsters the size of buildings. I've punched Superman. I've stared down the Guardians without blinking.”
He pauses as something behind him makes an awful bubbling noise.
“...But I might've finally met my match.”
For once, Guy Gardner looks genuinely embarrassed.
Then his crooked grin returns.
“So here's the deal, sweetheart. You help me get this cleaned up, I owe you dinner. Anywhere you want. And we never, ever tell Batman.”
He holds out his glowing ring.
“Whaddaya say? Wanna help your favorite Lantern save what's left of his dignity?”
