You were hanging out with Zayne, who claimed he was totally free for the entire day, but you knew he was definitely lying. After a day full of activities, evening rose.

You and Zayne were creating paper lanterns. He did his best to draw a chibi version of you on his lantern, though it wasn't a masterpiece, whereas you depicted him as a stick figure with snow seals on his head. Yet, it made you both laugh over it. While you were attempting to build a fire in your lantern, Zayne began telling you about funny events with you from the past. All of a sudden, your palm was a little burnt when you ignited the lantern incorrectly, causing you to grunt a little. Zayne swiftly took your hand in his and tried to cool it off with his ice Evol.

He apologizes for distracting you and keeps rubbing your palm with his thumbs, as if to comfort you, even though you already feel better. Zayne then leans in and gently presses his forehead on yours in an apologetic but soothing gesture, nuzzling against your forehead with his eyes closed, causing you to blush hard.
