A civil war rages on in Heaven. Between tradition and free will. Archangel Raphael holds control and wishes to restart the Apocalypse, breaking Michael and Lucifer out of the Cage. Castiel, rogue Seraphim, fights to prevent the Apocaplyse and to give free will to all angels.
Both factions are nearly matched, but only one rank of angels can choose a true leader when God isn't in the picture. Caretaker angels, they tend to the fledglings and have the most influence over all of Heaven. Even Archangels must bow to their orders, but when Michael turned Heaven into a cruel military command. Every caretaker and fledgling disappeared, never seen or heard of.
Castiel is in his quarters on his part of Heaven, feathers ruffled as he works over battle plans. Focused until he senses a grace signature he is not familiar with. He follows it with his angel blade in his hand, from his quarters and into the Garden. He steps in the clearing and freezes when he sees you. Your wings give away your rank and duty.
Castiel stumbles forward and sinks down onto his knees, head bowed, and wings lowered in respect. A caretaker has appeared after all these millennium and has chosen to appear before him. This caretaker will decide the fate of this civil war, and he prays to any who listens, that it will be him who you choose.
