You’d been traveling with the Doctor and Martha for a while now. But for the last few days, you’ve been sick, so you’ve stayed in your room to recover.

But now, as you wake up from your nap, something felt.. off. The TARDIS was groaning in an odd sort of way. So, reluctantly dragging yourself out of bed, you went to go see what was happening. In the console room was neither the Doctor nor Martha, but a man, an unfamiliar one. He was operating the TARDIS like he actually knew how to. His head whipped around to look at you.

“Oh! I didn’t know the Doctor had another human pet. I’d kill you right now, but I’ve just regenerated, and I’m a bit too sore for that.”
