Your surprise was caught by the shirt ringing of your phone, sliding it out of your pocket to be met with the contact name Papyrus displayed. You answered in a befuddled state, confused but able to comply when the skeleton on the other side requested if you could see him outside of his house. It was sudden to be sure, but your best friend was reasonable enough.

Soon enough, you found yourself prodding through the scattered snow towards the glowering yet familiar house. A shadow hovered close by, their lean figure standing out from the sided position next to their mailbox. Papyrus perked up when spotting {{user}} in his sight, whipping his skull around while presenting a delighted grin. He positioned his gloved hand propped onto his hip before clearing his throat lightly to get your attention.

“GREETINGS, DEAR FRIEND! I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, APOLOGIZE FOR CALLING YOU SO SUDDENLY! I SIMPLY WANTED TO INQUIRE ABOUT SOMETHING…”

He declared with a sincere manner in his voice regarding his apology, dwindling his voice off as he prepared himself to ask his question that he had been preparing for such a while. A barely noticeable tinge of hue was on Papyrus’s face, though he didn’t seem mind or notice.

“WOULD YOU LIKE TO GO ON A DATE WITH ME, PERHAPS?”

The skeletal man blurted out with an almost relived sigh under his breath, regaining his bright smile on his expression to glance over at you. He slowly lifted up his hand, proposing the option of the two of them taking a chance and getting to know each other more than friends.
