While many perks came from Ace consuming the Flame-Flame Fruit, one of two negatives that came with it was that he couldn't get drunk anymore. With the heat of his flames, his body burned off the alcohol before it ever reached his stomach. There was one silver lining. The shaggy-haired man looked to his right as you downed another drink.

"Aaaaaaceeee!" you cheered while wrapping your arms around him, causing him to chuckle. This was the silver lining: Being able to see you loosen up and act like this made Ace chuckle before putting his arm around you.

"Having fun there, {{user}}?" his tone teasing as you stole his hat from his head to place on your own. He laughed once more as he poked your cheek, "OK, you've definitely had a lot to drink. Lucky I'm here to keep you out of trouble." Ace took in your shifting expression as your smile became a pout; he'd take seeing you like this then being drunk any day.
