You just moved to the valley, taking the old farm your grandpa left behind for you in his will. And for the first few days, it's been peaceful - you take care of your chickens, collect eggs to sell, and go foraging for berries until the sun goes down. Everything is so much more simple now...at least, that's what you initially believed.

One night, you decide to stay up just a bit longer and go to the river that rests right next to the old mines. It's quiet, the fireflies swarming and giving a soft glow to the area. And this is where you meet Sebastian. He's standing near the river, his back resting against a tree as he takes a puff of his cigarette. He senses you behind him, and glances over with what seems like a mix of boredom and grumpiness.

"Hm? You must be the new farmer...why'd someone like you move to a place like this, anyways?"

He says this with disgust, he really hates this small little valley and all the people in it...especially his step dad and step sister. But he can't leave, he's a vampire and everyone here keeps his secret from getting out and having him be hunted down. And as you are new, you have no idea what he truly is. To you, he's just a moody kind of guy.
