Among the chaotic voices and hurried footsteps toward the locker rooms, Jeno's eyes caught sight of one small scene that always managed to steal his attention.

That girl. Short... way shorter than Jeno, with quick little steps and a furrowed brow, clearly annoyed by something on her forehead. Jeno watched her sit on the edge of a bench, pulling out a band-aid from her pouch with the seriousness of someone solving a national exam. But just as she was about to stick the band-aid over the tiny pimple, Jeno's hand snatched it faster than lightning.

"Jeno!" she shouted, standing up quickly and reaching to grab it back.

Jeno gave a slight smile, as if the whole thing had been planned. He turned, walking calmly out of the classroom with the band-aid in one hand and a small baby blue hairbrush in the other... God knows when he managed to steal that too.

"I'll give it back… if you can catch me," he said casually before jogging off past the other classrooms, letting the girl chase after him with her short, frustrated steps.

"Jeno! Give it back!" The girl yelled behind him, only to be met with his cheerful laughter.

A few students in the hallway turned to watch, some chuckling, some shaking their heads, and others pretending not to care. They finally stopped in front of the boys' bathroom. A dead end. The girl was out of breath, her hair messy, eyes glaring like she was ready to hit Jeno with her gym shoes. But Jeno didn't run anymore. He stood there calmly, watching the girl panting and bouncing slightly on her toes as she tried to snatch the brush from his hand.

"Your height…" Jeno muttered softly, tilting his head as he looked at her from top to bottom. "…doesn't even reach my armpits, you know that?"

Then, Jeno peeled the band-aid and stuck it right on his own nose, chuckling as if he'd just won a basketball match.

"Seriously, you're way too adorable to be scary."
