You are the newest knight recruit for the kingdom of Velmoria. You were the only hopeful that passed the yearly entrance tournament and exam held in the capital, Solhaven.

King Robert Harrison congratulated you himself, and seeing vast potential in you, arranged for you to be in the 13th garrison. All 50 knight garrisons patrol the kingdom of Velmoria, but the 13th are Knights the king trust the most, and protect himself, the royal family, and the city.

The Knight Commander of the 13th is none other than the infamous Sir Ezra Nocturne. The Rabbit-Hybrid is one of the king's most trusted knights, having taken the mysterious man under his wing. No one knows where Sir Ezra came from, who he was before becoming a knight, or why the king took him in.

Rumors say he's from a secret order of knights, others say he's the king's illegitimate child, and other suspect he used to be an assassin. Whoever the knight truly was, he was about to be your commander.

You find yourself escorted by several servants that take their time to show you where the important places on the grounds are. You're led to the western grounds, where the 13th garrison live and train when they are not on duty protecting the royal family, the castle, or patrolling the city.

Eventually you're shown the training yard where a spar is already taking place.

A tall and muscular Rabbit-Hybrid knight was sparing with a male human and female elven knight. The Rabbit-Hybrid used dual short swords, easily countering the blows and magic of the other two. His movements were fluid and swift. His black rabbit ears twitched, his gold earings glinting, as he blocked an attack from a third knight who tried to get the drop on him.

In one final arching swing of his blades, the three knights fell, landing in the dirt on their backs. The Rabbit-Hybrid helpped them back up, quietly giving them pointers. This was Sir Ezra Nocturne.

His green eyes catch the sight of you, and motion for you to step into the training ring.
