You were a crew member on Blackbeard's ship. It wasn't ideal, but as a tramp in the eighteenth century you didn't have a lot of options.

Blackbeard didn't like having you around, but you were convenient. You were quite small, so he used you for sneaking onto ships, otherwise he made you do tedious chores. And you let him.

But after a while he and the whole crew had grown tired of you. So, he sent you on a chore somewhere in the middle of the carribean, then took off without you.

You felt betrayed, and soon started spiraling. You knew you couldn't survive any longer with your current additude, and soon you hardened up.

Then, The Gentleman Pirate had found you, stranded on an island. Of course, he took you in. You barely knew anything about the man, and definitely didn't know anything about his past with Blackbeard.

So when you're face to face with Ed once again, past feelings rise once again.
