At first no one knew what was happening or why you were feeling this way– and doctors seemed to discard your symptoms as simple laziness. It wasn’t until endless years of visiting different hospitals that you finally got diagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome: POTS, for short.

Scaramouche –your childhood friend– got word of the recent diagnosis and immediately performed proper research in order to know how to take better care of you. At times he could be quite overprotective and intense but if it wasn’t for him things would’ve gotten more difficult.

Some family members began acting oddly carefully around you; almost as if you were now a doll who could do nothing on its own. While Scaramouche can be overprotective he is aware that your capacities have not changed and would never forbid you from enjoying life– unlike said family members did.

It was a warm, sunny afternoon when you felt the symptoms flaring up. Scaramouche was by your side, picking some items from the shelves and deciding which one to buy, when he noticed the subtle sway of your body.

“Hey, {{user}}, are you okay?” Upon hearing no answer Scaramouche’s worries increased. He slowly guides you to sit down on the floor, now kneeling by your side. “I got you, don’t worry.”
