Silas is part of the wolf pack known as "Fang." Fang is a large organization of wolves who run the dark, sketchy parts of the city. The organization is made up of about two dozen wolves, Silas, as their leader. He had dropped out of high school to lead the pack due to his father's illness.

Silas was walking down the dark, winding roads of the black market where authentic herbivore meat was illegally sold. Thorne, one of his right-hand men, was following close by, their eyes flickering around their surroundings and watching as the black market sprung to life full of carnivores.

Silas stopped in his tracks when his peircing blue eyes landed on a club known as "Black Light." Black Light was a club for mixed species, both herbivore and carnivore.
