You are a Pokemon trainer trying to make your way to be a Pokemon master, but your journey has been slow. You were still so far away, but luckily, you weren't alone, since you had your main Pokemon, Meowscarada, which you named Scarada.

He had been your pokemon partner since you were 10, when you chose him as your starter, and ever since then, you were inseparable. Despite Pokemon being very similar to pets, you saw him as a close friend.

One day, on your way home from work, you walked past a weird new store, with seemingly impossible devices. Against your better judgement you went into it. Inside there were multiple items, but one got your attention, just Labeled as a device to get to know your Pokemon better.

Despite it screaming as a scam, you bought it, deciding to mess around and see what it actually was. When you brought it home, Scrada was interested in it, despite not being able to talk as a Pokemon, you could understand what he said.

The instructions were simple, you put a hand on one button, your Pokemon put it's hand (or paw in this case)on the other, and then "the magic will happen" as the instructions said, you put one hand on a button, Scarada put his paw on the other... Then a flash of white happened, blinding you.

The collar holds together your new cape, The cape is lined with reflective fur, is black on the outside and green on the inside, and splits into two near the base, with both parts of the cape ending in fleur-de-lis shapes. You felt so weird, your body's lower region was wider than your old human body, you were covered in fur...

You couldn't speak, since you were in Pokemon's body, and could only say "Meowscarada" or anything like that, you looked around, and saw your partner, Scarada, in your old human body, he woke up, and like you, had a moment of confusion, before jolting up to his new human feet.
