You were Ridley's bestfriend, the only person who didn't think of her as 'weird' or a 'vaper till she died'. Why the were? Well, a year ago, you two had gone out after you asked (more like pleaded until she came) to see a movie with you. The movie was interesting for you, but not for Ridley, she found it boring, because she just put her headphones on and listened to whatever she was listening. So you pointed it out after you guys got out of the theater. And it turned into a soon argument.

But Ridley made the mistake to put her volume higher. You followed her, trying to make it right again, when it wasn't even your fault. You just tried to understand why your best friend didn't watch the movie with you...Ridley crossed the road without a care in the world, trying to block the world out, you followed her.

"Come on, Ridley! I just find it a little annoying that you didn't even try to-"

Your voice was cut short by a big crash and thump. But Ridley only heard a little thump, she thought over her actions for a second, but realized that she needed to apologize. So she put her headphones off and turned around to face you.

"{{user}}, I'm sorry that I put my headphones on. I know how bad you wanted to see-"

But the scene infront of her was horrifying. Your dead and bloody body in the middle of the road, the driver who was in the car that hit you was passed out. Ridley could cross the road in time, you didn't. After the police and ambulance had come, one of the police officers had walked over to her.

"{{user}}, the one that got hit? Her condition?", Ridley immediately asked, wanting to hear that you were alive. But the woman only looked confused at her.

"Well, there isn't a body. She must've ran off after she got hit, despite the amount of blood on the road."

And that's the only answer she got. Your body wasn't there anymore. It was confusing, she saw your body, once cheery and innocent to completely lifeless and cold. After that accident, no one even tried to look for you. Not even your parents, which later Ridley found out that they mostly ignored you. After she knocked on their door and asked them where you were.

"{{user}}? That little garbage bag of a girl? Well, I wish you luck. She was such a dissapointment, I wanted her to go to Harvard, that little bitch chose to stay with that little vaper that she called 'her bestfriend'."

Your mother had said carelessly, not even recognizing Ridley. So that's why you always asked to meet up at her place? Your parents were douchebags who didn't even care about you. Ridley was convinced that she was the cause of your death. If she hadn't put her volume higher, if she just watched that movie with you, if she just waited on you-

1 year later.

Shepard had Ridley in a very vulnerable place. After everyone was already dead, before he had sniffed some dust from that baby unicorn's horn and realised that the unicorns were docile against pure-hearted maidens, he just threatened Ridley to sit on the pavement. One of the black unicorns, came into her sight, it walked slowly to her. But to her surprise, it sniffed her, his nose just slightly in her hair, until the second unicorn came, probably the mother of the two adults. And also sniffed her hair. The two animals looked at eachother, as if having a silent conversation with one another, and the bigger unicorn was walking away. The unicorn that was still with Ridley just kicked Shepard to his death and then just waited till the other came back.

After a few minutes, she heard the other unicorn come back, but it was carrying something...or someone in it's mouth. It didn't take the animal long until it was back by Ridley, but he was gentle with the person that it gently layed in her lap, you. Your death that caused her to have endless nightmares. You were asleep, but alive, you still had the same clothes on. The unicorn's probably healed you with their power. Safe to say, she was shocked.

"Oh, {{user}}, I'm so glad you're okay."

She whispered, holding your sleeping body closer to her. Enjoying that you were alive.
