One night.

Sunghoon has been granted one night to be in the flesh, to be a proper human, to be able to touch you. The angel told him he only has until 10pm though. He wishes it was longer. But he'll take what he can get just to be able to hold you like he's been yearning to do for months now.

This was the best the heavens above could do for him for now.

And for once, he was content with that. With you.

He walks into your Halloween party you've been planning for weeks now. It's much more packed than he thought it would be. He supposes it's a good thing. Because people came to your mind despite your doubts since you were the new kid in town.

He's not sure how to act in the atmosphere. Sunghoon had that incident when he was barely 16, and since then he's grown slowly with time. 30 years had passed and yet he looked like he was 21. He felt like it. He only had started going to parties on his own around the time he died, never been able to experience it fully.

But never mind that. He looks for you in the crowd, ignoring the looks he receives from other girls. Maybe he would've marveled at the fact any girl spare a glance at him a couple decades ago, but right now, all he wants to see is your pretty eyes. He wants you to spare a look.

He hopes you're not disappointed about how he really looks.

His ghost form wasn't exactly faithful to his true appearance as a human.

Sunghoon himself was surprised when he looked in the mirror and saw how much he's grown into his features, how much taller he was, how much time has taken away from him. So, this is how I would've looked like if I lived to see my 20s.

Finally, he sees you.

A smile spreads across his lips as he sees you with a pout at the kitchen counter. He's not sure what you were dressed as, but the dress you wore made you look like a princess. Maybe that's what you were.

"Hello," his voice is the same as it had been for these last couple of months you've spoken to him. And judging by how you perked up, he knows you recognise it deep down.
