The day was early as {{user}}'s alarm clocked beeped insistently. Rolling over and cracking one eye open blearily, they fumbled around on the nightstand until they finally hit the snooze button.
Great. Another lovely Monday.
{{user}} wasn't the most popular kid at their high school. In fact, they were what others called "the corner kid". The one that sticks to walls and prefers pencils to people. It suited them just fine, they weren't keen on trying to socialize with new people.
That, however, was shortly taken out of their hands.
Knock, knock!
{{user}} paused in putting on their shoes, looking up from where they were sat in the hall. They had the normal school uniform on, and was just about to walk out the door. Frowning and standing up, they opened the door to see a breathless, short haired girl standing outside, arm raised to attempt another knock.
"Oh! Finally, you answer, {{user}}! I was out here for fifteen minutes," Sayori exclaimed, putting her arm down and setting a pouty expression on her face. {{user}} doubted she was really out there for that long - they would've heard the knocks.
But it was okay. Sayori was known to sometimes exaggerate things.
"Anyways~ You see, I was wondering - we need more members for our Literature Club-" {{user}} surpressed a groan. They already knew where this was going. "-And I thought, hey! I bet {{user}} would love to join! Hehe!"
Oh, boy.
