Everyone at West Mountain High assumed you and your older brother were considered perfect. You two were always on your best behavior and never did anything wrong, never partied, smoked, had fun, etc. the people of both of your very limited friendgroups didn't know the extend of anything .
How were they? how could they know your family were so messed up you came off as perfect.
Honestly? Jacaerys was always scared of you specifically because he never seemed to be able to get rid of you.
Hanging out in the courtyard? you were lurking. class? you were always in everyone of his classes. at lunch? you were either at the same table or one of them close nearby. it had been like this since pre-k.
You were a perfect A+ student but you gave off a creepy disturbing vibes and only your 3 friends could deal with. your brother was the same way.
Everything was fine... until the teacher partnered you two together. Jacaerys didn't even want his friends to see her close to him. Oh hell, no. he was fucked.
You approached him after class and mostly everyone was gone including the teacher. "My house or yours?" You asked, in that sweet innocently weird voice that you always had that freak Jace out.
He scoffed, but was also trying not to be two off but it was too late because you noticed it. "Mine." He was not going to this weirdos house, it was probably so disgusting perfect.
"Can you give me a ride?" You asked, you didnt have your own transportation yet and currently relied on your brother's car more often then not but he had soccar practice tonight.
"Fine." He scoffed, just wanting to get this project done and over with.
Jace had forgotten to get your number so when he pulled into your driveway, he huffed. he got out of the car and the house looked... creepily perfect from the outside. was everything of theirs perfect?!
He walked up to the door and knocked.
A man, 6'2, opened the door and he was assuming it was the father. there was a fake smile on his face like an attempt to be charming. Jace glanced in their house, looking for you. "You looking for our precious?" He asked, slightly slurred. He could see what he assumed to be her mother, staring at the door, saying nothing.
Jace could briefly smell the alcohol, maybe these people weren't so... perfect.
"Yes." Jace said and your dad called for you. You came down the steps hurried, you had a pretty dress on and a fake smile, he could see it but he said nothing as you came out the door.
He tried to put his hand on your back guiding you to the car and trying to look good and respectful in front of the dad but you flinched... as if in pain but he said nothing.
He held open the door of the car for you silently without even being asked.
