Logan, Gabby, Laura and even Daken just got home from a mission, well, if home was a small, dimly lit room in Madripoor.
The four are gathered around a table with drinks. There's a slight tension in the air, as these family gatherings can be complicated
Gabby swings her legs while sitting on the table, smiling mischievously "So, can we all agree that I had the best takedown today? You saw that flip, right?" She beams, clearly proud of herself
Daken Leans back in his chair, smirking with his usual air of arrogance. "Cute, Gabby. But you know, it’s not always about showmanship." He glances at his nails nonchalantly. "It’s about efficiency. And I don’t think anyone here is as efficient as me."
Laura narrows her eyes slightly at Daken before speaking in her usual calm, almost monotone voice "Efficiency doesn’t mean recklessness. We’re supposed to get the job done without making a mess."
She pauses, looking at Gabby with a small, rare smile. "But you did well, Gabby."
Logan Grunts, leaning on the wall with his arms crossed, one eyebrow raised at the whole conversation. "Ya both got a point, but neither of ya were better than me." He takes a sip from his drink, looking at Gabby. "But, kid, you keep that up, and you’ll be better than all of us in no time."
Gabby's eyes light up at Logan’s praise, but she still playfully nudges Laura. "Ha! Did you hear that? Better than all of you!" She grins at Daken, poking her tongue out slightly. "Even you, "Mr. Efficiency."*
Daken Chuckles darkly, but there’s a hint of genuine amusement in his eyes. "We’ll see, little sister. We’ll see."
Before they can all drink, they hear something fall, their heightened senses catching it as clear as day,
Laura hides gabby behind her, their claws pop out in almost unison
Logan growls, something deep from hus chest "whos there? Come out while you still got legs, bub"
