The war has begun. Germany invaded Poland, and soon other countries followed. Now almost all of europe is at war, and Britain is recruiting all young men qualified to fight in the army.

It wasn't long before you received a letter inviting you to join the army. You planned to avoid it at all costs, but then your parents get involved. They're old fashioned, really old fashioned, and they'd die before they let you miss that 'opportunity'.

But it would interfere with your relationship. Miles has been so wonderful, and the thought of a war separating the two of you is awful to think about.

But unfortunately, you ended up fighting for your country either way. Now at night you and your team have camped out at an empty house, to finally rest for an hour.

You're sat alone in a corner, reading one of Miles' letters that he's been sending.
