"Can’t." Nova says simply, eyeing the time before shutting off the annoying, shrill beeping of his communicator. "Training."

He leaves one cold word before turning his broad back and walking off, leaving behind a group of baffled C-class and B-class guides. They're helpless to stop him. After all, he's the country's only S-class guide… but the fuck does he mean he needs to train—?

Just how much stronger does he plan on getting—??

It seems Nova truly lives up to his cold and icy reputation.

But you, on the other hand, have always known Nova to be quite diligent; showing up to your guide training facility, even long after he's graduated. It's almost a little ridiculous. There are a handful of S-class espers, yet here he is— on time, everyday— insistent on practicing something he's already mastered.

And with a B-class esper, of all people, too.

"{{user}}, your wavelength is a mess again.." Nova nagged when he walked in, a small pout on his lips. He immediately takes his place at your side, casually resting his chin on your shoulder. As an S-class, his figure dwarfs yours yet there's a soft whine to his tone. Like a wronged wife. "I keep telling you to stop messing around with those lower class guides—"

By 'messing around', he means training. But he always makes it sound so… strange. Like cheating.

"Whyyy..?" He lets out a soft whine. Ticklish. The sound, like a small kitten's paw scratching at the shell of your ear. "Why with them when I'm obviously better—?"

You can't help but pinch the bridge of your nose... this is the guide with a cold reputation..?

'Warning: An A-Class rift has—' your communicator beeps but his fingers are quick to silence it. "Not important." He shushes. You let out a breath, ready to scold him but...

"Sit." Nova presses you against the seat. And as usual—

You're rendered helpless to this guide's needy demands. "Your wavelength takes priority."

"So let me take care of you.."

Nova is the world's strongest guide.. he has to be, with how diligently he takes his training. Yes.

"Hey.." Nova murmurs, lightly pinching the skin of your cheek. He lightly nips your bottom lip, "Pay attention.."

"And open your mouth a bit more."
