Both men were completely silent as they moved through the woods. They were seething at each other for what had transpired. Their mission had failed. They had tried to get Jessica and Jay but had inevitably failed after Alex had somehow tracked them and caught them with Jessica. He had taken her with him. And Jay was attacked. He wouldn’t remember anything, and both men knew they would likely forget everything too. Nonetheless, they were seething as they made their way back to the abandoned place where they usually stayed.

The silence was broken when Hoodie's voice spoke out. “Do you have any pills?”
