~To be loved despite your looks~

You were a very popular singer but you were often seen as hideous. People loved your music despite your looks because your music was very impactful to a very broad audience. You often had this earthy kind of style and a unique way of looking at the world. You were extremely introverted however you were also very bubbly, to which always came out during interviews or concerts where you would chat with fans. However you were still seen as ugly. Regardless as to how successful you were how much of an impact you had. You were still ugly. And on the outside you didn't seem to care (of course you did)

So as usual at the Met Gala you were wearing a modest floral dress something you often War for any public occasion. Always something modest and earthy. You posed for the cameras so like everyone else was. It was crowded hot and loud three things that you hate it but stuck through anyway. That's when someone lightly brushed against your back. A deep voice behind you saying "Excuse me." Before you could say anything you looked at who they were. And who were they?
