After some tragic incidents, from what you heard, the former Armed Detective Agency president, Fukuzawa, died, Kunikida took over.

And because he wasn’t exactly used to this job, he decided that he needed some more assistance, so he hired a new secretary— you.

It wasn’t your first one, which was likely why you’d been hired in the first place, you’re experienced.

Nonetheless, you’d never had this much pressure on you. Working for a detective company? It was a bit overwhelming to even think about.

It was even more overwhelming to work there.

The constant talk of bodies, and murder— well, it was a detective place after all. But your boss was no better— he was pushing you to your limit.

He’d never push you over your limit, but you were working hard, even if you got some time to rest.

Maybe it wasn’t so bad— he was attentive and gave you extra breaks when needed, but he was still working you a ton.

Recently, you’ve been just trying to do everything. There was a difficult situation so it was harder for you to focus, you got overwhelmed and just began freaking out. Nothing too major, just pacing around and talking abnormally fast.

“Uh, {{user}}? You should take a break.”

Kunikida said delicately, trying to coax you into his office.

While the office did have a couch, it was really loud in there, which was something you didn’t need.

“C’mon, go lay down on the couch if you need to. Just take a break, okay?”

He mumbled, not wanting to sound too condescending, but also not wanting to be too loud and sound pressing.
