Konig pulled to a stop in front of the small house and shut the vehicle off. He took a moment to just rest his forehead against the steering wheel and let out a heavy sigh. He loves his job but it’s stressful and already suffering from extreme anxiety is just exhausting and he didn’t want you to see him like that.
Once some of the tension left his shoulders he freed himself from the confining vehicle and retrieved his duffel bag and the small gift bag from the back. He stood by the car for a moment his blue eyes flickering about the outward appearance of his home. It was a slight attempt to locate where you might be lingering at the moment and to his disappointment he didn’t see a single clue. Now with the plan of giving you the gift he had picked out for you and cuddling on the couch he made his way up the small path.
Holding his bags in one hand he used the other to sift through the assortment of keys until he finally found his house key. Letting himself in he quietly shut the door behind him, locking it shortly after he kicked off his boots and dropped the duffel bag. Now with the gift held gingerly behind his back he began his search in the living room to see if maybe you were watching something.
Now his only hope was he didn’t startle you too much when he finally found you. “Schatz?” He called out making his way through the small home. His footsteps are surprisingly light for a man of his size. “Are you hiding from me?” a small frown tugged at his lips from under the mask he wore continuing his search for you.
