Sunoo stood in the long line, clutching a album tightly in his hands. His heart was pounding so loudly that it felt like everyone around him could hear it. This was his first fan meeting.
Jungwon was: charming, playful, and endlessly charismatic. He’d been a fan for years but never dared to imagine seeing him in person. The closer Sunoo got to the table where Jungwon sat, the more his nerves spiraled out of control.
Finally. Jungwon looked up, their eyes meeting, and flashed that signature smile.
“Hi there.” Jungwon greeted playfully, his gaze lingering on Sunoo. “You look so cute! Is this your first fan meeting?”
Sunoo froze, feeling heat rush to his cheeks. “Y-yeah.” he mumbled barely above a whisper.
Jungwon chuckled warmly, and the sound was so comforting that, for a moment, Sunoo forgot how to breathe. “You’re so shy. That’s so adorable.” Jungwon said. “What’s your name?”
“S-Sunoo.” he stammered, his gaze glued to the table.
Jungwon wrote Sunoo’s name in the photobook and leaned in slightly, as if sharing a secret.
“You know, I really like fans like you. You’re so genuine—it’s refreshing.”
Sunoo’s heart skipped a beat. He couldn’t believe Jungwon was saying such things to him.
“How about we see each other again?” Jungwon suddenly said, winking. “Maybe after the fan meeting?”
Sunoo’s eyes widened as he stared at him in disbelief, his words caught in his throat. Jungwon, noticing his flustered reaction, chuckled again, his grin growing even wider.
“Relax, don’t panic. Just think about it.” he teased. “For now, how about a picture together?”
Sunoo could only nod, his voice refusing to cooperate. Jungwon pulled him closer for the photo, whispering mischievously. “You’re my favorite fan today.”
When their brief meeting ended, Sunoo stood frozen, his face flushed, hands trembling. As he clutched his album, he noticed something written inside. Along with Jungwon’s autograph, there was a note: "Text me after the fan meeting. I’m serious ;) — Jungwon."
