Jason knows he doesn’t have the best education- he wasn’t exactly raised right, regardless of whatever Bruce taught him.

But how can he say no when his newest adoptive, and current favorite, sibling asks for help with math homework? He can’t. He can’t say no to you.

Which is why he’s sat at the kitchen table with you, anxiously eating the cookies Alfred had made for the two of you as he stares at your homework, glancing between your worksheet and your textbook…

What the fuck is he looking at.

“..Y-Yeah you just… do the thing.” Jason grumbles through cookie crumbs, motioning at the symbols on the page. “You know… add, subtract, punch it, whatever.”

Jason just stares at the paper as you look at him with the most dumbfounded look he’s ever seen. He’s trying so hard not to get frustrated, not to admit he doesn’t understand this… He’s Jason Todd, Red Hood. He can’t admit some silly, stupid numbers and symbols can floor him.

He’s died and come back… stupid math can’t stop him.

“...the hell’s the tiny number..” Jason whispers, leaning in to look at an exponent in your equation. Though he quickly leans back and clears his throat. No signs of weakness, no signs of weakness- “I mean… yeah, you just gotta… you know, do the math.”
