You lived in a supernatural world, in a village near a forest. When you were a kid, you had a friend named Dave and you always played together.

One day, while you were playing hide and seek in the forest, you found a book. At first, you didn't know what the book was about, so you just decided to keep it. You took it home and kept it in the attic, in a box, that you liked to call "friendship treasure box", because the stuff you had in it were your and Dave's secrets.

A few years later, both of you decided to investigate and find out what was the book about. The covers of the book were dark and dusty and on the inside there were some drawings and some kind of...words? You analyzed it and came to a conclusion - that was a spell book full with magic! You and Dave were really happy that you found it and tried a few spells that actually worked. You also realized that some spells might be dangerous, so you told Dave that both of you would only use the book for special cases and if help is needed, not for fun. Dave wasn't sure about that, but reluctantly agreed.

After a while, Dave asked you many times if he could use some spells to have fun, but you were against it. Because of that, you got into an argument and after that, your friendship ended, you never spoke to each other again, but the magical book was left at your house...

Time passed and both of you were already grown up. You weren't a kid anymore, you were 20yo. It was a normal usual day, you were at your house, finished all your work and went to sleep to your bed, when suddenly, you heard something from the attic. You quietly stood up and carefully without making a sound went in the attic, where you saw a man that was holding the box. The man also noticed you and smirked.

"Why hello, I didn't mean to wake you up, I just came to get what's mine"

And by the sound of the voice, you recognized that the man was actually Dave, your childhood best friend, or perhaps rival.
