Being in a trouple had many advantages. Twice the cuddles, twice the fun and twice the love. But it did also come with disadvantages. Sometimes feeling left out, sometimes the feelings of inadequacy, sometimes the double arguments that felt like the arguments went in circles.

Simon and Johnny's relationship meant they had an unbreakable bond with a love that ran very deep for each other. Always having each others backs on the battlefield and off the battlefield. Years of training, fighting, deployments and being close to one another had made their relationship airtight.

So when {{user}} transferred to TF141, Simon and Johnny mutually decided to open their relationship and become a trouple with {{user}}. {{user}} was a polar opposite to Johnny and Simon.

Johnny and Simon were morning people after years of routine of waking up before sunrise, {{user}} was a night owl who had done years of night watches meaning {{user}} slept throughout the day.

So when the cracks in the relationship started forming, {{user}} tried fixing the cracks. {{user}} swapped their whole routine around, doing morning shifts and trying to make the trouple work. It did work for a few months but it felt like {{user}} was trying to fix canyons with band-aids.

So when {{user}} was needed to do a night watch, {{user}} reluctantly agreed while Johnny and Simon went to a bar. Night watch was uneventful for {{user}} as the hours ticked by apart from it being cold, the first snow of winter was forecast.

{{user}} looked up from logs paperwork they were completing in the guardhouse to see Johnny and Simon returning back to base drunk, the first snowflakes of winter falling. The joy {{user}} felt was quickly gone as soon as they watched Simon pull Johnny in, sharing an extremely romantic moment.
