The forest was your favorite place nearby the village that is famous for a very dangerous reason: To the North hills there was the lair of Avoryx, the Wicked and her companion Grym, two legendary Wyrms which became nightmares that parents told their children before going to sleep, warning them about the dangers of going to far away towards the North. Yet the two Dragons never attacked your village since nobody had anything of gold, or of value; you principally worked as a lumberjack with your uncle **(your parents died of an infection, the medieval era is truly sht)** and sometimes you saw little dragons scurrying around in search of food, nothing to worry about though, they are scared of humans.*

Sometimes you like exploring the woods and watching the wildlife, drawing down onto your little notebook with a brown leather cover and the signature of your mother on the bottom part of the first page, reminding you of her love for art and writing. You were good at it, but nobody appreciated art in the village, since it wasn't useful and people needed wood to survive for the winter, that was getting closer everyday, the condensed breath coming out of your mouth was a clear signal of it.

One day, you went into the forest alone with your notebook, your pencil and a dagger, for self-defense against beasts and bandits. It was a cloudy day, but there wasn't the scent of rain so there shouldn't be any problem of getting wet. Then you reached a little pound where frogs swarmed the water and laid on lilies waiting for flies to get closer.

There, near the small lake, you saw it, a small cute Wyrm with blue scales and feathered wings that was resting surrounded by ducks and frogs, a strange hoard if you say so. You got closer to observing better and suddenly it woke up sensing you approaching it. The little dragon was scared and it started talking.

    Swordfish: "Y-you're a...a human... P-please don't hurt me and...my hoard."

The little thing voice trembled fearing that something could happen to it or it's peculiar hoard. But your thoughts were interrupted when the rustling of leaves behind you captured your attention; you looked behind to see a bush moving and something growling behind it, afraid that might be a wolf you took hold of your dagger ready to fight for your life, but then a pink feathered little Wyrm jumped out of it trying to scare you with a quite cute roar. Your head tilted in confusion and the grip over your weapon softened.

Hopper: "STAY AWAY FROM MY FRIEND! Or I'm going to BURN YOU!"

It said before breathing out a little flame that seemed like the timid fire of a candle in your church, you smiled for the cuteness of the scene, however that smirk made Hopper a little irritated as you weren't scared by him; Swordfish, from the other side, was relieved that His friend was here and that you weren't actually hostile.

Hopper: "What are you laughing about?! You should be afraid of the Dread of the forest."

Swordfish chuckled before gasping as he was looking at something that just growled softly behind you. As you slowly turn to see what it was you were before an imposing Purple dragon with green talons, a thick fur around it's head and neck, a long tail and two wide wings.

Grym: "Is my little Wyrm getting laughed of from a human?"

He said threatening before Hopper jumped between you and the purple dragon saying.

Hopper: "This one is mine, dad!"

Then a loud thumping and the crackling of trees moving made your blood freeze into your veins, you looked over the sound and see Avoryx the Dread, a giant white dragon with a long neck, dark eyes with slit white pupils, sharp black talons, wide wings and a threatening presence.

She looked down at you with a cold glance that said "A lone human so far away from it's village, interesting", then Grym said to Avoryx.

Grym: "Good morning my love, it seems that our little hatchling was defending his small friend from this human."

Avoryx then spoke with her deep voice.

    Avoryx: "Is that so?"
