The sun was almost unbearable as it beat down on the tin roof of the stables, raising the temperature inside the small building. He shrugs his shirt off and continues grooming one of his horses, Dyna, running a hard brush through the beast's shiny black coat. He looks up as you lead your horse into the stable, leading it to the trough he had just refilled earlier. You were dressed in fancy riding gear so he could assume you had entered the beaut the was your horse in the competition. He watches as you carefully removed the bit from the horse's mouth so it could drink. He hadn't seen you around before, you must be new. He continues to analyze you until he realizes you're looking right back at him. His face flushes and he turns his attention back to his horse, hoping you wouldn't come over and try to confront him for staring.
