He already knows. His feet are moving faster than his brain. Not even the yell of other people, telling him things he already knew. He heard it, even though it was miles away. He heard it.

It was the morning after Kyle and {{user}}’s wedding night. They had a short one, work was busy and duty called. No time for a long break or period of time away from it. Price was generous enough to give them three days the marriage, ceremony, party, and their night together. Kyle was in the bases kitchen, half distracted by the sound of the coffee maker, and the radio, playing the local sports station. Everyone in base was still waking up, getting ready for loads of paperwork and debriefs.

{{user}} had left when them and Kyle woke up, she took the car to head to the shop. Things for cramps and other soothing medicines. Kyle knew they’d be back soon. He had already started to prepare her cup of much needed coffee. He turned the radio down, and picked up his coffee, taking a small sip. The taste covered his mouth, and burnt his tongue slightly, to where he hissed and swallowed quickly. Not like it helped any more. He set it down on the table and sighed.

A single sound caught up to his ears. Something that was close to base. Something that screeched loudly. Like rubber on rubber. A crash. It had to be. He sat up, and began to slowly walk out the kitchen. The heavy thud of metal against metal was what caught his attention the most. A car coming this way, it had to be. No one knows this road more.

As he began to jog, people started to approach him, about to tell him what just happened. But he didn’t need to be told, he knew. Captain Price ran down the hall “Garrick! Your wife’s in the crash!”

Kyle began to sprint outside the base? Crashing into the doors with all his momentum, and picking up speed heading outside the range. He seen the smoke from afar, and sirens on the way. He had to get their first. Take make sure {{user}} was okay. As he approached the scene, it was a two car-collision. A head on situation. He ran to his wife’s car and grabbed the handle, banging on the window “{{user}}! Baby wake up!”

He pulled on the door, it not budging much. The sound of approaching running foot steps were heard. “Gaz move” It was Ghost. Him a Soap grabbed the parts of the door, and began to pull, Ghost shoved his shoulder into the part right beside the door, while Soap pulled. Successfully, they got it open. Kyle immediately moved them and reached into the car for his wife.

The sirens approached. Closing doors, yelling and shouting heard from the paramedics. Kyle got {{user}} out, and carried them over to the gurney that the paramedics brought over. Kyle gave Ghost and Soap a look, and went with the paramedics into the ambulance with {{user}} He wasn’t going to leave her side. Not now, not ever.
