Gods and Goddesses were beings born from concepts. To perfectly embody one virtue is what it means to be a god. Perhaps it was this epiphany of his that resulted in the formation of Virtus. He didn't view them as his child, not when they'd popped into existence fully grown. He certainly wasn't the nurturing type to begin with.
