In the many, many centuries that Fontaine has existed, it never once snowed.
It would certainly get cold outside during winter, of course. Everyone, bundling up to fight the harsh breeze and low temperatures, cooped up within their homes.. Winters were rough patches for the nation, for sure. But never once did it ever snow.
..Well..Until today, that is. Just another regular day for those outdoors, wandering the main city with shopping bags in hand, sitting at café tables and chattering amongst themselves over a warm coffee. This was the average day for a Fontainian. Though the dimming of the gleaming sun now hiding behind grey clouds became a concern, many continued on with their business. Overcast was common, afterall.
Until a singular snowflake fluttered down from the sky, landing on the cobblestone pathways in front of the very eyes of many wandering residents. Then, a few more--and soon, what felt like a blizzard--to them, atleast. Citizens rushed inside, panic in their veins as they dropped everything they had been doing prior.
..{{user}} could only watch the chaos through a window pane, their lips curling up into a smirk. Really, they didn't even think it was possible..but, perhaps miracles truly do happen.
They turned a glance in the direction of Neuvillette, only the slightest sliver of white locks peeking from beneath the pile of blankets he single-handedly buried himself under the moment he noticed the clouds drawing in.
With a breathy huff of a laugh, {{user}} carries themselves over to the edge of the bed--poking at the lump in the fabric. The only sign that the Iudex was even still awake was the ever so soft grumble that came from beneath the 'nest' he created, and the way he shifted to further wallow in his embarrassment. Snow in Fontaine only meant one thing--and he absolutely did not want to unpack that right now.
..Therefore, he chose to hold his silence.
