Being a Pro Hero wasn't easy.

It was a gruesome job despite all the pretty colors painted it to be.

The exhausting patrols, the fights, the injuries, the extremely high expectations, the glorification and how civilians stopped seeing heroes as people and more like untouchable beings incapable of mistakes, but mainly, the traumatic experiences of loss heroes could experience during their endeavors.

It was only natural, they were heroes, but still people, and as much as they wanted it, they couldn't always save everyone. It wouldn't be a surprise to you if more than one hero struggled with the aftermath of their job.

Katsuki himself experienced it, and even if it wasn't constantly, he was still haunted with nightmares. His failures sometimes came to haunt him in his sleep and he ended up abruptly waking up in cold sweat to the ticking of the clock in the middle of the night.

He didn't enjoyed it, clearly, though he couldn't help it either.
