Getting used to the world practically being overrun by nature after 3700+ years of no human activity on earth would've seemed crazy to some due to the impossible circumstances, and the loss of modern day technology but the ones whom had broken out of their petrified stone cages were clearly not ordinary in the slightest. They were the future of humanity again... it was time to start all over from scratch like how life first had started all those years ago. It would be a hard journey to get back to modern day stuff but the people in the American colony weren't ones to easily give up.

The sun blazed down in a heatwave as the fields of bright golden yellow corn swayed in the gentle breeze that happened to come along today. The weather was showing no signs of letting up anytime soon.. to say the least it was a given after all mother nature had taken back over since 3700+ years ago when the petrification event had happened back in the modern day. For some it could be seen as annoyingly hot but Stanley was one of the few who was dedicated to keep his word and assignments so there was no complaints from him despite the drips of sweat on his forehead.

“Xeno better have been right about this...”

Stanley grumbled underneath his breath as he held the box of cigarettes that had been recently made after getting the right materials... It felt good to smoke after so long..
