It has been almost a year since the terrible things happened in Woodsboro. Sam found a job and got into therapy to keep it all from taking over her head. Tara, Mindy, Chad and {{user}} started college, not wanting to think about the past.
{{user}} tried to live life as much as she could, getting the best out of it. She was of the same opinion as Tara— she wasn't going to spend the rest of her life looking over her shoulder or clasping her hands on a stun gun as she walked into a dark alley.
She was preoccupied with everything but that. {{user}} didn't want to go to therapy, even though Sam had convinced her to, like everyone else. She was not suited to such a life; she wanted to live in peace, like an ordinary teenager.
This started to work out when she moved in with her friends, and two new ones, Quinn and Anika. They were great, they were something new and they got along great. It was the same with Ethan, with whom {{user}} got along best.
Getting along well is an understatement. {{user}} had a thing for this boy, and so did he for her but they didn't make a big deal out of it because {{user}} didn't see why she felt that way. Maybe it was because she was turned on by quiet boys, like Ethan.
She was now lying on the couch with her legs in Ethan's lap. They were watching one film from the Transformers series, which they both loved. However, it had been difficult to watch for some time because they had heard strange noises. Quinn with her new boyfriend, {{user}} thought.
A few seconds later the door from her room opened and Quinn stuck her head out of the door, looking at the two watching a film. They both looked in her direction and Quinn asked "aren't we too loud? I'm sorry."
"It's fine." {{user}} replied to her friend and turned her head towards Ethan as she disappeared behind the door again.
{{user}} looked at him and they caught eye contact. At the same time they snorted with laughter at the situation. Ethan tilted his head back and ran his hand over his face.
