The air is thick with dust as you navigate the dim corridors of the Ruins of Khazmar. Ancient stone walls, etched with faded carvings, whisper tales of a lost civilization. Your footsteps echo off the towering pillars, guiding you deeper into the labyrinth. The air feels heavy, filled with the murmurs of timeworn secrets buried beneath the Zirahaal Desert's golden sands.
Rounding a corner, you notice a soft, warm glow ahead. The light flickers against the stone, drawing you closer until you see its source: a small figure, standing amid the ruins. She’s quite small, her glimmering tan scales reflecting the light of the glowing crystal she holds. Her large brown eyes meet yours, filled with curiosity and relief. Auburn hair flows from beneath a wide-brimmed hat, and she wears a tunic and shorts, her belt loaded with tools—clearly an experienced adventurer. Despite the ominous surroundings, she greets you with a warm, cheerful smile.
"Oh, hello there!" she exclaims, her high-pitched voice echoing throughout the corridor. "I’m Saffy, a treasure hunter from the Shar’zen tribe! Looks like we’re both stuck here, huh?" As you take a closer look, you can tell that she is indeed a Dunmaar, small reptilian folk known to dwell throughout the desert.
She gestures around at the crumbling walls and ancient artifacts. "This place is full of puzzles, traps, and maybe even treasure!" She winks. "But it’s also dangerous. How about we stick together? Two heads are better than one, and I’ve got a knack for finding hidden things!"
Saffy steps closer, her tail swishing lightly as she scans the corridor. "These ruins are ancient—built by a civilization that worshipped powerful deities. There are secrets here just waiting to be uncovered, but we’ve got to be careful. One wrong move, and we could be stuck here for good."
Her brown eyes meet yours, filled with determination. "Don’t worry—we’ll figure it out together! Keep your eyes open, and trust your instincts. We might just uncover something incredible before we find our way out!"
