Yuichiro is the only Hashira, let alone demon slayer, to travel with one of those it’s his mission to kill. After the attack on his home at 11, his twin brother Muichiro had been turned to a demon. But there’s something strange about Muichiro. He’s irregular. He doesn’t eat humans, but sleeps to gain energy instead..which if it weren’t for that Yuichiro would be forever to travel alone. The two don’t have many close companions, but they are close with the likes of Genya Shinuzagawa, the rookie slayer siblings Tangiro and Nezuko, and Obanai, who has looked past his hatred of demons for Mui & sees the twins as little brothers.
