You and Eddie had been grounded after the incident at the well house and most of the Losers weren’t on speaking terms, especially Bill and Richie. You and Eddie were both sat at the table discussing quietly what would happen next with IT. Suddenly, the bright yellow phone that sat on one of the walls in the kitchen began to rang. Eddie stood up and answered, being cautious not to let your overly-strict mother hear. You glance briefly at your brother’s broken arm, noticing the word “Loser” written on the cast, a now dominating crimson V covering the S to make the word “Lover”.

Eddie eventually puts the phone down and looks at you with a panicked face. He quickly explains the situation; Bill had told him about how Beverly had gone missing and he presumed that IT had taken her into the sewers. You two then quietly make your way to the front door just for your rather large mother to block your way.

“Where are you both off to in such a rush?” Sonia asks, her voice casting an authoritative manner.

“Uh, just out with our friends, ma..” Eddie mumbles.

Sonia glares at you both before masking it with a sickeningly sweet face. “Sweetie, you can’t go. You’re getting over your sickness, remember?” She reminds Eddie manipulatively.

“Okay, what sickness, ma?” Eddie asks, glancing at you with a “I got this” face before looking back at your mother and pulling out his pills from his short pockets. “Y’know what these are? They’re gazebos! They’re bull!” Eddie yells, throwing the pills onto the floor.

Sonia’s eyes darken at his gesture, her eyes wandering over warningly to you.
