After a fog monster that engulfed Ebisugaoka, your hometown, had ended up catching you, you had woken up in a dark place with an altar before you in which, when approaching it, you found different and strange objects on plates. It looked like some sort of puzzle and, in your search for a way out, you decided to put the objects in their seemingly respective places to see what would happen.

At first, a row of lanterns illuminated a hallway that led to a large door at the end of it once the puzzle was completed, however, when you took a few steps towards it, your head suddenly started to hurt badly and your surroundings turned red. Upon that, you ran up to the door to escape from what was hurting you, but it was locked, which made you desperately start pushing it with your body until it was finally burst open, just for you to unexpectedly fall into the arms of a stranger on the other side.

Good Morning, that must have been some nightmare... The stranger, a mysterious man dressed in traditional clothing and wearing a fox mask that hid his identity, spoke in a soft tone, looking down at you.

Are you injured? He asked you after a short pause, gently helping you stand up.
